On October 21, 2026, OpenAI announced a partnership with Google Cloud to bring its frontier models and Codex workflows to Model Garden. General availability is planned over the coming weeks.

Google Cloud's announcement names GPT-6 Astra, GPT-6.1 Sol and GPT-6 Luna. It says a private preview is beginning for selected enterprise customers, while availability in Google Antigravity is still forthcoming.

What this means for a Google AI Pro subscription

I'm still waiting to see whether Google AI Pro subscribers will get access to these models and, if so, how much usage will be included. Neither announcement sets out personal Pro-plan entitlements or quotas.

The prospect of choosing models from Google, OpenAI and Anthropic in one environment is appealing to me. For now, the confirmed news concerns enterprise cloud access and a planned Antigravity integration. It does not establish a single consumer subscription with included allowances from all three providers.
