Valve has brought a refreshed browsing layout to the Steam Workshop. Items now appear as compact cards, using a visual style similar to the redesigned community market.
Hover over an item and use the magnifying-glass button to preview its description, details, and statistics without fully opening the page. Categories move to the left, making the main grid look cleaner.
At the time of the original post, opening an item still led to the familiar detail page. My impression was that the update mostly refreshed the browsing layer, but the quick preview did make exploring mods more convenient.
