This Chrome extension uses the X API to retrieve each user’s IP-based location and converts it into a simple English country abbreviation. You can now install the extension from the Chrome Web Store:

The extension includes a rate limit to prevent requests from being sent too quickly and triggering X’s restrictions. While browsing any posts or comments, it automatically queries the poster’s IP region and displays the country abbreviation next to their username, as shown in the image below.
The extension requests storage permission to save the poster’s country locally to avoid repeated queries. It works only on x.com and twitter.com and does not share data with anyone.
