OpenAI's October 8 ChatGPT update brings GPT-6 and Intelligent UI into everyday conversations, including GPT-6 Luna access on Free and Go. The most visible change is how answers are presented: alongside text, ChatGPT can build interactive charts, diagrams, buttons, and forms directly in the conversation.
Which GPT-6 model does each plan use?
The OpenAI help article identifies GPT-6 Luna for Free and Go, and GPT-6 Sol for Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise. Both support Intelligent UI. The separate Pro reasoning option uses GPT-6 Astra, which does not support this interface.
Interactive explanations inside the chat
An explanation can become an interactive diagram, while a comparison can use a side-by-side layout. That can make a complicated process easier to explore and help readers learn by interacting with the answer. ChatGPT can also use a plain text response when that fits the question.
