Telegram introduced AI summaries for long channel posts and Instant View articles. An eligible post can show a summary control, and an article may display a generated summary above its text.

Telegram says the feature uses open-source models on Cocoon, its decentralized network designed around private computation. That describes the service architecture rather than guaranteeing that every summary is correct.
In my test, a long Steam guide qualified for a summary, but the brief result omitted too much to replace the instructions. The roughly 1,000-word length of that example was an observation, not a published minimum for every post.
A summary can help decide whether an article is relevant. Read the full text for steps, exceptions, and technical details. See Telegram’s release announcement.
